Wastewater Treatment.

The HCM team has planned and designed numerous wastewater treatment plants and wastewater treatment system upgrades for clients in a variety of industries. Many of our plants utilize membrane bioreactor (MBR) technology. We also specialize in master planning of drainage systems and design of wastewater collection and treatment systems. These projects range in size from small gravity sewers to large pumping stations.

MBR Technology.

Membrane bioreactors, or MBRs, use ultrafiltration membranes to separate water and solids. Operating at high concentrations of mixed waste, MBRs wastewater treatment technology provides a multi-stage treatment system from secondary to advanced in a single step, reducing site reactions and treatment steps. High quality wastewater treatment systems allow for UV sterilization, wastewater is strictly treated, meeting standards for reused water.
